This is a free, in-person, instructor-led, 2-hour seminar to be held at Prima Italian Steakhouse in Brownwood, The Villages, FL.

The seminar will compare some of the pros and cons of investing in Annuities versus Mutual Funds. It will describe Mutual Fund basics including the different share classes and fees so you can compare to annuities. The seminar will also describe the different types of annuities and explain how they work. It will describe the terms and features you should know and some of the “do’s and don’ts”. It will explore riders, allocation methods, crediting options, taxation, best ways to fund, and other important elements to consider when deciding between Annuities or Mutual Funds. It will address the asset protection attributes and costs associated with mutual funds and annuities including surrender charges. The seminar will also describe how you, your agent, and other parties make money with mutual funds and annuities.

The presenter is a former practicing CPA with a Masters degree in Taxation. He is also a Certified Annuity Specialist and a Certified Tax Specialist. He holds insurance licenses in Florida and various other states and a Series 6 securities license so he can advise and sell mutual funds and all types of annuities including Fixed, Fixed-index, Variable and Registered Index-linked products.
